Weekend Fun!!

This weekend was jammed packed for Grayson! He had his first birthday party to go to and his first concert! We went to Pearson's (our friend Brian and Trina's son) 1st birthday party at the park! It was the first time we used the stroller! Matt had to work (his first day back) so Kari came with me and helped me with the stroller and Grayson! Kari with the stroller!
Here's Pearson eating his birthday cake!!! This was his first "sweets" in a whole year!!! He chowed down!!! SO cute! Grayson pretty much slept through the whole party! :)

So we think Grayson may have his nights and days confused! He wants to sleep all day and play all night :) So we did our best to keep him awake for a while this morning. First we tried his foot rattles! We thought they were adorbale but I don't think he even noticed them! I thought these videos were fun because Grayson's awake !

I'm a WEEK old!!!

Grayson is a week old today!!! I can't believe it's been a whole week already! I don't want him to grow up! :) He's just so cute and little! Matt is ready to play football and see him walk! I'm glad we have a little while before he's doing that... but I hear it comes sooner than we know!!!

We went to Palmer lake for dinner and to hang out yesterday! This is Grayson sleeping in his crib at Gigi's. Of course I realized that the little pad that supports him while he sleeps is upside down! It's supposed to support his torso not his head :) Oh well he slept and so did I!

Grayson is so blessed to be SO LOVED! We had a great visit with Mawmaw and Pawpaw! Here a few pics of them saying goodbye before they headed back to Texas.
Grayson loves his Auntie Kari!!!! Thank you Auntie Kari for everything you did to help prepare for Grayson's arrival and homecoming! You are the bestest BFF ever! You are such a blessing to us! You made our lives so much easier coming home to a clean house, hot bath, and groomed dog! : )

Daddy's Photo Shoot!

Daddy had a photo shoot of Grayson today! We love him in this cute little onsie :)

His hands look sooo big here! I mean they are big and he has long fingers but not as big as this angle makes them look! I love this little face though!!

Aunt Katelin comes to visit!

Aunt Katelin already made a trip down from Greeley to spend some time with Grayson! We had dinner with the Grandparents at Palmer Lake last night! It was nice to have the whole family together to celebrate Grayson's arrival. Tom and Katelin with Grayson!

Last night I got up for a second and looked back at the bed and found my boys and Penni sleeping so cute!!! Penni is doing pretty well adjusting to Grayson being here. She just always wants to be in the same room as him and check him out. Last night we caught her staring at the bassinet for like 5 mins! So Cute!

Daddy with Grayson this morning. One: Grayson's hat is too big! Two: Daddy looks tired! :) But my favorite thing is to watch Matt with Grayson! He's such a good dad and loves his little boy soo much! Matt has been amazing to wake up in the middle of the night to put a pacifer back in Grayson's mouth or help me get ready to feed him. I'm so blessed to have a helpful, hands - on husband! I am going to be sad when he goes back to work next week... it has been so much fun to be together ALL DAY, ALL WEEK! It's reason enough to have another one :) Don't worry not anytime soon :)
