Hope for Elvis!

Our small group sponsors an orphanage in Cameroon Africa called Harvest Children's Home. We call our efforts HOPE FOR ELVIS. The first weekend in October we sold donated items at a flea market to raise money for the orphange... mainly for medical supplies and to send people ove there in the summer. Here are a few pics from the event.

We raised $1100 for Hope for Elvis!!!!

You may be thinking why call it Hope for Elvis??? well we wanted something catchy and Elvis is the name of one of the sweet orphans.

Dear Kids,

Mom and I are so proud of you in your service to the Lord with Hope for Elvis. It truly shows the love of Jesus coming through for people you may never meet this side of heaven.

We are enjoying our much needed vacation here in Sonoma CA. We went yesterday to see the redwood trees at Armstrong State Park, and had lunch at a beautiful spot overlooking some winery fields. We then went to Bodega Bay on the coast and took numerous pictures of the Pacific Ocean crashing on the rocks near the shore. Last night we ate at a neat Italian restaurant and the food was out of this world. We will send you pictures once we download them.

Love you both and miss you!

Love,

Mom and Dad
