This past monday marked 8 weeks along for me! Crazy it's been 2 months! We go to the doctor today and we are excited... I want offical doctor's dianogsis that YES your life is about to change forever!!! I still feel pretty good, just really tired alot!
Below is an excerpt that explains how the baby is growing at this point...we still have a ways to go!
I think it's crazy that it still looks like a little blob baby but it's amazing to look back at my 7 week post and see the growth! I read in a book that if the baby was to continue growing at this rate it would be 15 ft tall by the time it's ONE MONTH OLD! I'm glad the baby slows down!
New this week for BB:
Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby — about the size of a kidney bean — is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.
I will keep you posted after our appointment and let you know if we got to hear the heart beat!
