Kaleb!

Here are some pics of Kaleb today! he loves being naked! well nothing but a diaper! if he's unhappy we just have to take his clothes off! it's hilarious! He's so cute... makes me wonder what our baby will look like!

Our baby has fingerprints!!!

This week I'm 13 weeks! Crazy! I hoping week 13 is better than week 12! So far so good! Today I signed up to rent a baby heart monitor so we can hear the heartbeat at home!! Mainly I want to let others hear it too :) I will take a better video so you can hear longer and better! It will take about a week for it to come in.

Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce. The picture below shows the size comparison to a quarter. This picture shows if the baby at 13 weeks was out of the womb how tiny it would be! I thought this was pretty cool!!! So little! I think at this point I'm completely AMAZED how fast this baby is growing and I still don't feel anything in me :) Next week the baby should be the size of a fist. CRAZY! God is amazing and made humans to be amazing SPEACIAL creatures... how anyone can discredit God and His creations completely is mind-boggling to me... it seems so obvious!!!

Keep praying for this little babies health and safety! God has been soo good!!! Thank you for your prayers!

Matthew Pics!

Here is a Pic of Matt and his Parents when they came out to visit for his Birthday! We had a great weekend! We went to Ai Japenese/Hibachi Steakhouse for his birthday dinner so Matt could get sushi :) we went to Babies R us and MawMaw got the baby a cute blanket and swaddler and other "gender neutral" things for the baby :) And then we ordered the UFC pay-per-view for Matt and the boys hung out in the basement and the girls watched girly movies upstairs :) ! It was great to see them and can't wait for the next visit!
This is Dad and Matt after they went shooting yesterday! The pizza man was not doing so well when they got back! They went into the mountain to go shooting with Gary (Dad's neighbor) who we have become friends! BOYS WILL BE BOYS!!! Dad was feeling sorry for the pizza guy :(

BY THE WAY - DON'T YOU LOVE MATT'S HAIR CUT!!!! I LOVE IT! IT WAS GETTING PRETTY LONG BUT I LIKE IT SHORT :)

Little Scare... GOD IS GOOD!

So Saturday morning I had a little scare and actually went to the ER to get things checked out. I'm not going to go into details of everything but I just wanted to share how good God is!!

Pretty much I was at the FOC Ladies Women Retreat (my mom's church) leading worship with Mom and April and I was showing symptoms that needed to be addressed. Usually I would have called the doctor but of course this was on Saturday so they were closed so the ER was my only option to get a peace of mind.

After hours and hours of waiting we had an ultrasound!!! We got to SEE our sweet little baby! Matt was with me and grinning from ear to ear when he saw our little BB :) They turned on the second monitor so I could see and we saw the cutest little baby profile shot! We could see the head and the little nose! and the baby had it's hand in or near its mouth! SOO CUTE! It was amazing to see! I started to choke up which made me laugh and jostle the baby!

Unfortunately since it was an ER visit they didn't print us a picture :( It makes me sad because I just want to look at it all day and show the world! But I guess I wouldn't get much done:)

Anyways, while at the ER we had the whole ladies retreat praying and family praying up a storm for that little baby! and as soon as they prayed my symptoms seemed to stop! I haven't had any problems since!!! My doctor checked the ultrasound today and gave me the OK everything looks good!

Thank you Lord for protecting that little life inside of me! Thank you for being to good to us in soo many ways! Thank you for giving us the power of prayer!

I'm a Pooper!

Our Little Baby's HeartBeat!

Here is a video of us hearing the heartbeat for the first time ever!!!! The angle is not the most flattering! But you get the idea :) At first its hard to hear the heartbeat but after Matt turns the camera to his face and says"That's my baby!" he turns it back to the speaker and you can faintly hear the heartbeat... its beating really fast! The doctor said it was perfect and no it wasn't something I ate that is making me sick!

Yes it's true I can no longer say that I haven't gotten sick yet! Monday was the first time I got sick and this morning was not a good morning at all... I couldn't even go to Chapel fearing that I would get sick in the edit room :(

But the doctor said everything looks good and we go back in a month! Its getting closer to when we get to figure out what we are having!!!

Let me just say hearing a heartbeat makes it feel more real and we still can't believe we are having a BABY!!!! AHHHHH!!!! CRAZY!!!!

Hello Hello!!! Sorry it has been a while since I have updated the blog... it has been pretty busy and I can't find my battery charger for my camera to take more pics and post them... which brings me to let you know whats going on with the pregnancy...

Well, I'm at 12 weeks today and I'm officially losing my mind :) I can't find anything or remember what I did two seconds ago (hence can't find the battery charger...and I have two of them) :) Above you see an ultrasound pic of NOT my baby but of a baby that is 12 weeks along :)

I still pretty good for the most part. Yesterday I stayed in bed all day because I think I over did it on Sat. doing a 5 hour shoot. But still feel good :)

TOMORROW - we go to the doctor's again!!! I'm sooo excited because we should here the babies heartbeat!!!! YEAH! Please pray that the doctor finds the heartbeat quickly and doesn't send me into a crazy panic attack if it takes a couple minutes :) I am going to search my WHOLE house for the battery charger so I can take a video and get the audio on the blog of the heartbeat :)

It has been fun recently becuase a TON of my friends are also finding out they are pregnant.... mainly one surprise has me thrilled! Judith my best friend who lives in Hawaii right now is pregnant with her third!!! She's due Sept. 16th or 18th I think (just two weeks behind me) :)

Anyways, Everything else is going great! We started the Truth Project with our church and youth group and that's going great! Matt is doing an amazing job answering and guiding the youth with some tough questions! I'm extremely proud of him!!!

Ok well that's about it for now... when I find my battery I will do some more updates and def. let you konw how the doc's appoint goes tomorrow!
